As per https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/bhubaneswar/plan-to-develop-bhubaneswar-new-city-on-capitals-outskirts/articleshow/98109547.cms?utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=iPadapp&utm_source=email the Bhubaneswar Development Authority has submitted a proposal for a Bhubaneswar New City of about 770 acres (314,5 hectares) covering Gothapatna and Dasapur villages. The Ministry of Housing and Urban authority (MOHUA) will be selecting 8 such proposals and each state is supposed to submit one proposal.
