As per https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=869282278129823&set=a.754142156310503 efforts are being made for direct connectivity to/from Jammu, Dehradun, Surat and Chandigarh.
Note that there was direct connectivity to/from Surat before and currently there is 1 stop (no-plane change) connectivity to Chandigarh.
