New train ideas - Chitta - 09-10-2024
IDEA: A new train in the route Jeypore - Koraput Jn - Suku - Paliba - Machhkunda Road - Bheja - Padua - Darliput - Kottavasla Jn - Vizianagaram - Brahmapur - Bhubaneswar.
Why:
- The stations Suku - Paliba - Machhkunda Road - Bheja - Padua - Darliput do not have direct connection to the capital region.
- Connecting them to the capital region would help develop the toursim potential of that area which includes mountains, valleys, waterfalls as well as large water bodies.
Initial suggestion by: https://x.com/OdishaRail/status/1833520042920857649 , which says that

As I twitted (https://x.com/Odishalinks/status/1833526651726270696), this is an excellent idea. Having direct connections to the stations Suku, Paliba, Machhkunda Road, Bheja, Padua and Darliput (all in Odisha) from Bhubaneswar would help develop the tourism potential of that area.
