CM Naveen Patnaik announced the terminal will be named after great freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. A special kiosk to be set up at terminal to inform public about Netaji's life & struggle. Various motifs & paintings to be placed at the terminal to promote Netaji’s ideals. The terminal will have 180 bus bays and 274 Equivalent Car Space for 2 & 4 wheeler parking. The terminal will have all kinds of modern facilities & Integrated Information Management system for convenience of passengers. A 3-storey terminal building to be constructed on 118000 square ft area. For the construction of terminal, Ring Road to be extended by another 2 kms.
