IIT Bhubaneswar faculty situation as listed in their web site today (November 19, 2023).

• School of Basic Sciences: 16 in Physics, 14 in Chemistry, and 17 in Mathematics. (Plus 1 visiting in Math)
  
• School of Earth, Ocean & Climate Sciences: 14 regular faculty, 1 visiting faculty and 7 adjunct faculty.
  
• School of Electrical Sciences: 10 in Electrical Engineering, 19 in Electronics & Communication Engineering, and 9 in Computer Science and engineering (plus 1 visiting faculty) - 2 expected to join in Computer Science in a month.
  
• School of Humanities, Social Sciences & Management: 7 in Economics, 6 in English, 3 in Psychology, and 3 in Philosophy
  
• School of Infrastructure: 25 faculty
  
• School of Mechanical Sciences: 25 faculty
  
• School of Minerals. Metallurgical and Materials Engineering: 14 faculty

• School of Earth & Planetary Sciences: 7 regular faculty,  4 visiting faculty, and 1 scientific officer
  
• School of Humanities & Social Sciences: 6 regular faculty
  
• School of Mathematical Sciences: 23 regular faculty, and 1 visiting faculty
  
• School of Physical Sciences: 32 regular faculty, 3 visiting faculty, 6 scientific officers
