As per news reports the road from Jayadev Vihar to Nanadankanan to Cuttack will become a dedicated corridor with flyovers. Following is an excerpt from https://odishabytes.com/bhubaneswar-to-h...anan-road/ 

Bhubaneswar: Plans are afoot to develop a dedicated corridor for movement of vehicles in order to decongest the Jaydev Vihar-Nandankanan Road and Bidyut Marg in Odisha capital from heavy traffic.

Sources said the public works department (PWD) has drawn up  plans for the proposed corridor which will have flyovers, underpasses and service lanes. ...

A tender has reportedly been floated to select an agency to prepare a study report based on which a detailed project report is to be prepared to execute the proposed project, an official of the Bridge and Construction Corporation said.

As per the initial plans, the stretch will also have provision of service roads, wide sidewalks and parking provision, sitting spaces. pedestrian crossings as well as underpasses. ...

Barang in Cuttack and Retang in Jatni will get a direct connecting road. As a result, vehicular traffic from Cuttack-Puri road to Ravi Talkies and Jaydev Vihar to Nandankanan will come down.

... the 38-km road having six lanes would be constructed in 4 stretches along the Daya west bank. As per the plan, 13.74 km will be completed in 1st stretch, 7.29 km in second, 3.16 km in third and 13.84 km in fourth stretch, he added.

Yadav said the project would be executed in coordination with the Water Resources department after ensuring rehabilitation of displaced people as per government policy.

Besides reducing the distance to different places in the city, the road would ensure seamless communication to Bomikhal, GGP Colony, Laxmisagar, Old Town, Kapileswar, Sundarpada, Patia and Mancheswar railway station.

As per https://sambadepaper.com/imageview_43920..._1_sf.html the right parallel road from Acharya Vihar square to Damana square is finally open. It goes through Acharya Vihar Square, Sainik School square, Press square, MCL square, ECOR stadium square, and  Kelucharan Park. See map below.

The left parallel road is stuck for the 800 meters or so that is currently aligned to pass through Salia Sahi and is facing opposition from the people of Salia Sahi. I think a better approach would be to reroute that segment along the boundary of Ekamra Kanan. See map below.
