If I'm not wrong The conversion of BESU to IIEST was done totally based on 2005 S K Joshi Committee recomendation. Actually It should be IIT, not IIEST. Union Govt also done cheating with BESU, they just converted IIT BHU not BESU. Kerala Govt wanted to convert CUST to IIT instead of IIEST, Union govt gave nothing to them also.

and VSSUT, Burla was not present on that List.
