Some key points from the article below:
  • It seems AIIMS Bhubaneswar is the second choice (after AIIMS Delhi) of students at both undergraduate and post graduate level.
  • AIIMS Bhubaneswar has 125 seats for MBBS
  • AIIMS Bhubaneswar has 79 PG seats
  • In AIIMS Bhubaneswar out of 44 departments, 25 have PG and 12 have super speciality PG (which is 3 years after 3 year PG)
  • PG is missing in some important departments such as Nephrology, Gastro surgery, Endocrinology, and Nuclear Medicine: There is effort to have PG is two of these four departments.
  • Detailed information on seats in the PG programs is available at https://iniss.aiimsexams.ac.in/pdf/seat%...ebsite.pdf .

As per https://pragativadi.com/advanced-molecul...ubaneswar/ an Advanced Molecular And Diagnostic Research Centre For Fungi was Inaugurated At AIIMS Bhubaneswar. It will be
a first-of-its-kind Lab in Eastern India to act as a referral centre. Following is a quote from that article:

Quote:The lab will act as a referral center for eastern India. It will help identify medical fungi, offering various serological, molecular, and antifungal susceptibility testing services for patients with different fungal infections. Additionally, the lab will provide observership / hands-on laboratory training opportunities at our center to microbiology trainees or practicing microbiologists throughout the year. Hospitals experiencing outbreaks of fungal infections can seek help from this center to identify underlying reasons for an outbreak to terminate the episode, and implement measures to prevent future incidents.
