The Railway Minister stated that the chord line between Khurda Town and Kaipadar Road, as well as the Final Location Survey (FLS) for the new line between Angul and Nayagarh Town via Narasinghpur-Kantilo-Khandapada, have been approved. By connecting undiscovered animal sanctuaries and forest reserves, this route will enhance natural tourism, connect the Kantilo Nilamadhab Temple, and open up new markets for brass and bell metal goods made in Khandapada and Kantilo.
