  • Govt. (Auto.) College, Angul
  • Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang
A medical college is being made in Talcher.

In addition there are several private engineering colleges and diploma colleges in the area.

  Bhubaneswar New City proposal

As per https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city...urce=email the Bhubaneswar Development Authority has submitted a proposal for a Bhubaneswar New City of about 770 acres (314,5 hectares) covering Gothapatna and Dasapur villages. The Ministry of Housing and Urban authority  (MOHUA) will be selecting 8 such proposals and each state is supposed to submit one proposal.
