  Transprtation hub location
Posted by: Chitta - 04-18-2024, 08:22 PM - Forum: Transportation and Logistics hub - No Replies

The map below shows where the National Waterways 5, the Paradeep Expressway and the Howrah Madras main rail line are close together. A transportation hub should be established near that together with a cargo airport.

  Goat banking
Posted by: Chitta - 03-30-2024, 03:45 PM - Forum: Animal Husbandry - Replies (2)

Goat banking - an innovative concept. Poor people take two 1 year old goats  and then after two years return half the kids (usually the 2 becomes 10 and they return five). In between they are coached and helped and smaller business transactions happen such as the goat bank buys the goat poops from them and makes fertilizer out of them.

A well educated couple in Odisha left their jobs and started this in Kalahandi (Odisha) and are running this successfully. The PM covered this in his Mann Ki Baat. https://www.financialexpress.com/india-n...g/3404678/

An interesting take on the micro-loan and SHG concept geared towards local knowledge and expertise - raising goats.

Bhubaneswar, 27th March, 2024 - Global diversified professional services and investment management company Colliers (NASDAQ, TSX: CIGI) in India, has won an INR 220 crore Design & Build Turnkey assignment from EPIC Designers which is to set up its first manufacturing unit in the country.   Parallel roads To Jayadev Vihar - Nadankanan
Posted by: Chitta - 03-27-2024, 07:46 PM - Forum: Major Roads - No Replies

Two parallel roads were being constructed. One is ready. The other has a small incomplete part as it passes through Salia sahi. It would be better if that part is routed through the border of Ekamra Kanan as shown in the map below.
